The beginning of Samsøe Samsøe dates back to 1993, when the Samsøe brothers opened a small jewelry store of the same name in Copenhagen's Latin Quarter. The brand soon expanded to include premium t-shirts and knitwear designed primarily for men. In 2000, Peter Sextus and Per-Ulrik Andersen took over the brand and transformed it into an international fashion house focused on contemporary clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women.
With a nod to its Scandinavian heritage, Samsøe Samsøe is defined by a wearable aesthetic that combines the utilitarian lightness of Copenhagen street style with a typically Scandinavian spirit. The collections go beyond trends and draw on the renowned Danish design tradition, which results in minimalist, affordable and accessible fashion.
